Photoshop Speed Painting

Posted by Andrew VanderPloeg

For every thousand people there are out there that either abuse Photoshop and it's power, or just plain don't know how to use it, there is someone out there that possess the talent and skill to make up for the entire group of abusers.

Today's post features a couple of examples of what is known as Photoshop speed painting. Now don't be completely fooled, these videos are not in real time. They are sped up from the actual time the images took but are still awe-inspiring nonetheless.

To me the creators of these images are true artists. They started with a blank canvas and finished with an incredible piece of art. These videos are a good reminder that Photoshop is merely a tool that when used properly is only a conduit to great visuals being created.
